Aurangzeb was a mughal emperor of India from 1658 to 1707.He was the sixth Mughal emperor. He ruled over almost the entire Indian subcontinent for a period of 49 years.

Aurangzeb is also known as “Alamgir(Conqueror of the World)”.Under him the Mughal Empire reached its greatest extent.Under his reign, India become the largest economy and manufacturing power in the world. Aurangzeb compiled a book name Fatawa-e-Alamgiri, and applied sharia law and Islamic economy throughout the country.
